Mr. Gregory Allen Herring, age 55, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Herring. Greg is survived by: his mother, Hilda Herring; brother, David Herring and sister-in-law, Ginny Herring, all of Buford, GA; and brother, Mike Herring and sister-in-law, Gail Herring of Hull, GA; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Greg was a 1972 graduate of North Gwinnett High School where he was voted “most popular” and “wittiest” by his classmates. He enjoyed a thirty plus year career as a hair stylist in Gwinnett County. He was a member of the Suwanee United Methodist Church. Visitation with Greg's family will be conducted on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Flanigan Funeral Home, 4400 South Lee Street, Buford, GA 30518 (770-932-1133). Funeral and burial will be conducted on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Suwanee United Methodist Church, 603 Scales Road, Suwanee, GA 30024 (770-945-8041) with Rev. Pat Southerland and Rev. Leah Cunningham officiating and with interment in the church cemetery. Arrangements by: Junior E.
