Restaurant gets new name, menu

LAWRENCE- VILLE -- What was previously The Lunch Box is now Jack Brown's Cafe.

The old service station at 225 W. Crogan St. has been revamped and renamed under the new ownership of Monroe resident Mike Lee.

Lee bought the business in June and has since completed renovations and rolled out a new menu of soups, salads, sandwiches, hot dogs and more. Signature dishes include the chicken salad and turkey chili. Jack Brown's also serves breakfast until 10 a.m.

Hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. For more information on Jack Brown's Cafe, call the restaurant at 678-407-3444.

Einstein Bros. opens latest store in Duluth

DULUTH -- Einstein Bros. Bagels opened its latest location Wednesday.

"We are in a growth mode despite the economy, and with this opening we are adding to the tremendous momentum we've built in the Atlanta market and elsewhere," said Jeff O'Neill, chief executive officer of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group.

Einstein Bros.' menu offerings include sandwiches, fresh-baked breads, soups, sweets, artisan roasted coffee and bagels.

To celebrate the grand opening, Einstein Bros. is sending coupons in January to 20,000 local residents, offering a free Bagel Shmear and coffee, a free lunch sandwich, free coffee, 50 percent off a Bagel Bucket, a buy-one-get-one lunch sandwich and 25 percent off any purchase. The buy-one-get-one deal and 50 percent off a Bagel Bucket coupons are being mailed directly to local workplaces.

Located at 900 Duluth Highway in Duluth, Einstein Bros. Bagels will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.
