LOGANVILLE -- Six Gwinnett County legislators are scheduled to participate in a town hall meeting Monday evening at Grayson High School.
The meeting, hosted by the Area III Gwinnett County Council of PTAs, will allow the delegates to give the community a recap of the 2009 legislative session and talk about what's coming up in 2010, said Rebecca Branstetter, the council's legislation and advocacy chair.
The scheduled participants are state Sens. Don Balfour, R-Snellville, Curt Thompson, D-Tucker, and Renee Unterman, R-Buford, and state Reps. Donna Sheldon, R-Dacula, Lee Thompson, D-Lawrenceville, and Len Walker, R-Loganville.
The meeting will give the community a platform to ask questions about the upcoming budget and how schools will be affected, Branstetter said. It will also provide the elected officials an opportunity to hear from their constituents.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Grayson High, 50 Hope Hollow Road, in Loganville.
