LAWRENCEVILLE -- A pedestrian was apparently struck and killed Thursday evening on New Hope Road near Simonton Road.
Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. David Schiralli said no one else was hurt in the incident and that the vehicle's driver remained on the scene until authorities arrived.
At press time Schiralli said he was waiting on investigators' preliminary report and that no other details were available.
