Amy Marie Lantrip and Marco Julian Friend were married June 6 at Decatur First United Methodist Chapel. The Rev. Dr. David Naglee officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Lisa Lantrip of Stone Mountain. She is a graduate of Parkview High School and Clemson University. She is a teacher for Gwinnett County Public Schools.

The groom is the son of Mike and Cindy Friend of Bethlehem, Penn. He is a graduate of Clemson University and is employed as a transportation engineer with Jacobs Engineering.

Carlin Tennent of Duluth served as the bride's maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Caitlin Anderson of Tucker, Ashley Hilton of Greenville, S.C., Emily Lantrip of Cary, N.C., Lauren Lantrip of Atlanta and Katie Manson of Berkley, Calif.

Michael J. Friend of Bethlehem, Penn., served as the groom's best man.

Groomsmen were Edward Glover, Adam Lantrip and Clay Sanders, all of Atlanta, Derek Little of Athens and Eric Saunders of Bethlehem, Penn.

Ushers were Brian Anderson and Rick Taylor, both of Bethlehem, Penn. Katy Bettencourt of Gainesville and Ally Hollowell of Atlanta served as greeters.

After a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Decatur.
