NORCROSS - A Peachtree Corners church is offering a safe driving course for teen drivers.
Simpsonwood United Methodist Church is sponsoring the Fear This program on Sept. 11. The program provides behind-the-wheel driving exercises as well as classroom training, an e-mail said. "I can personally say that I have attended this course with both of my teenaged boys several years ago and can't say enough great things about it," Debbie Mason wrote in an e-mail to members of the United Peachtree Corners Civic Association. The class will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 11 with the behind-the-wheel training scheduled the next day on a course at Year One at 1001 Cherry Drive in Braselton. "This course can be a life-saving gift you give to your teen, especially before they head off to college and deal with driving the interstates and two-lane country roads," Masron wrote, also noting possible insurance discounts for completing the training.
