Maggie Kane Banks and Matthew Tyler Woodie were married June 27 at Center United Methodist Church in Hoschton. Minister Howard Banks, the bride's great uncle, officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jody and Hoby Banks of Suwanee. She is a 2005 graduate of North Gwinnett High School and a 2007 graduate of the Aveda Institute of Atlanta.

The groom is the son of Mark and Kathi Woodie of Hoschton. He is a 2003 graduate of North Gwinnett High School, a 2006 graduate of Lanier Tech, a 2007 graduate of Gainesville State University and a 2009 graduate of Piedmont College. He is employed by Gainesville Fire Protection as a fire sprinkler inspector.

Lauren Foster of Statesboro served as the bride's maid of honor.

Anna Simeone of Buford served as the flower girl.

Michael Woodie of Hoschton, the groom's brother, served as the best man.

Adam Simeone of Buford served as the ringbearer.

After a honeymoon at Chateau Elan and in Destin, Fla., the couple resides in Suwanee.
