SNELLVILLE - Police have arrested a Snellville man, charging him with raping the 12-year-old daughter of his mother's boyfriend.
Roderick Christopher Stewart, 19, was arrested Tuesday, three days after the alleged incident. According to reports, the girl's father noticed her acting strange during a bowling trip Saturday. He was approached by a woman, reports said, who told him that his daughter needed to speak with him. That's when police said he learned she had been raped just before all three went to the bowling alley. "He said he told the kids to clean their rooms before they went bowling," an incident report read. "He said (she) went into her room to finish cleaning (and) Chris followed (her) into her room, closed and locked the door, forced her on the bed ..." Police said the man told Stewart "to get out of his face and to leave" before taking his daughter to an area hospital, where authorities were notified. The father's girlfriend - Stewart's mother - lives with the man and reportedly gave Gwinnett police crime scene investigators permission to enter the home and collect evidence. It is unclear whether Stewart lives at the residence full-time, as police reports also list an Arkansas address. Stewart is being held without bond at the Gwinnett County Jail.More like this story
