LILBURN - A Lilburn man remains jailed after police say he shed light on his pedophilic urges during an online sex chat.
Bish Shorrosh, 51, allegedly wrote to a woman in Texas that he "liked teen boys" and "gurls (sic) when they first start growing physically" and similar statements during an explicit online chat Aug. 4. The woman had met Shorrosh - who was posing as a 45-year-old Lilburn man under the pseudonym "Matthew" - on the networking site Tagged.com, according to Lilburn police. They exchanged e-mail addresses and carried the conversation to a live Yahoo chat line when the correspondence turned eerie, police said. The woman told police she'd reported Shorrosh's profile to Tagged.com before alerting Lilburn authorities. Police arrested Shorrosh on felony charges of distribution of child pornography Wednesday, Lilburn police spokesman Det. Matt Lake said. Shorrosh works as a senior project manager with an Atlanta public power company, according to his online profile and jail records. Shorrosh is scheduled for a Gwinnett Magistrate Court probable cause hearing this morning. For now, he remains jailed without bond.More like this story
