Dorothy “Dot” Hoopaugh Sims, age 66 of Auburn, formerly of Dacula, passed away Friday, August 14, 2009. Funeral Services will be Sunday, August 16, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, with Rev. Lee Sass and Rev. Chris Parkin officiating. Burial at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery, Dacula. Dot retired as a substitute teacher, summer clerk & paraprofessional at Dacula Elementary School after 25 years of service. She is preceded in death by her Parents Clarence A. & Cecelia A. Holt Hoopaugh of Auburn, and husband James Willard Sims. “Dot” is survived by Children: David & Joyce Sims, Jefferson; Maria Dianne Sims, Auburn; Jacquelyn Darlene Sims, Covington; Sister: Mary Loner, Duluth; Grandchildren: Crystal Sims & Jared Hembree, Jaelyn Daphne Sims; Great Grandchild: Riley James Hembree; Several Nieces, Nephews & Cousins and friends that knew her.
