NOTICE OF REQUEST

FOR QUALIFICATIONS

The Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District (CID) is soliciting qualification packages from consultants for the Replacement of the Pleasant Hill Road Bridge over I-85.

Packages shall be delivered to the Gwinnett Place CID office no later than 3:00 P.M. local time on Monday, August 31, 2009. The Gwinnett Place CID is located at 3700 Crestwood Parkway, Suite 680, Duluth, GA 30096. One unbound original and five (5) copies should be submitted. Any submittal received after this date and time will not be accepted. Submissions will be publicly opened and only names of submitting firms will be read at 3:00 P.M.

The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is available at no charge at the Gwinnett Place CID office or via the CID Web site at www.gwinnettplacecid.com. You may call 678-924-8171 or email jallen@gwinnettplacecid.com requesting a RFQ package. Respondents are encouraged to review or obtain a copy of the recently completed Interchange Modification Report (IMR) for the project. The report may be reviewed at the CID office or a copy may be viewed at the CID Web site www.gwinnettplacecid.com.

The CID is not liable for any costs incurred by the proposers prior to the signing of the contract.

S.R. 324 NATURAL

GAS FACILITIES

RELOCATION, PHASE 3

Separate sealed Bids for the replacement of a 2-inch steel low pressure natural gas main, a 4-inch polyethylene gas main and other related gas facilities located along Georgia S.R. 324 (Gravel Springs Road) will be received by the City of Buford at City Hall located at 2300 Buford Highway, Buford, Georgia until 11:00 a.m. local time, August 24, 2009, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The project generally includes the installation of 8,400 linear feet of 4-inch polyethylene natural gas main, 430 linear feet of 2-inch polyethylene natural gas main, natural gas services, line valves and other appurtenances. Proposals will also include an Alternate Bid for installation of 2-inch steel natural gas mains and valves.

The new facilities will replace existing facilities that are in conflict with the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation project for the proposed Widening of S.R. 324/Gravel Springs Road Over I-85, Federal Aid Project No. BRSTO - 0998 - 00 (001).

No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the Bidder holds Georgia State Contractor's License of proper classification and in full force and effect, in compliance with Act. O.C.G.A. 43-14. Contractor must be a qualified natural gas contractor under the laws of the State of Georgia, must comply with any Federal, State, and City guidelines and regulations and have cast iron gas main replacement experience in the past five years.

The Contract Documents, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Bid, Bid Security, Agreement, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Payment Bond, Performance Bond, Notice of Award, Notice to Proceed, Change Order, Drawings, Certificate of Substantial Completion, Specifications and Addenda may be examined at the following locations:

Police Renovations

The City of Suwanee is soliciting Qualification Packages for Construction Services for its planned Renovations to the former City Hall Facility located at 373 Highway 23, Suwanee, Georgia 30024. The facility is intended to serve as the new Headquarters for the City of Suwanee Police Department. The Project will also include minor renovations to the Crossroads Center located at 323 Highway 23, Suwanee, Georgia 30024. The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) package will be available on August 6, 2009.

All services provided will be in accordance to Federal, State, County, and City (of Suwanee) guidelines and regulations.

Construction firms shall have proven familiarity and experience on similar type government facilities as well as demonstrated knowledge of Federal, State, County, and City ordinances.

Project Scope:

The scope of work for the Police Headquarters facility is to include but not be limited to:

All labor, material and equipment necessary for selective demolition, roofing, exterior painting, interior framing and drywall, interior finishes, cabinets, plumbing, mechanical and electrical. The construction budget for the Police Headquarters is approx. $240,000.00. The former City Hall facility is approx.10,500 s.f.

The scope of work for the Crossroads is to include but not be limited to:

All labor, material and equipment necessary for selective demolition, interior framing and drywall, interior finishes, cabinets, plumbing, mechanical and electrical. The construction budget for the Crossroads is approx. $80,000.00. The Crossroads is approx. 3,716 s.f.

All firms interested and capable of meeting the stated requirements herein are encouraged to submit a Qualifications Package to the City of Suwanee by 09/10/09.
