Elmer Ray Young, age 87 of Honea Path, SC died August 9, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 62 years; Margaret Lindsey Young, Daughter & son-in-law; Carol & Mike Wilson (Lilburn, GA), daughter; Rae Schirrmacher (Snellville, GA), son & daughter-in-law; Mark & Ruth Young (Marietta, GA), grandchildren; Patrick & Hilery Wilson (Loganville, GA) Sean & Collin Young (Marietta, GA), great grandson; Adrien Wilson, brothers & sisters-in-law; J.D. & Ruby Young (Arden, NC), Larry & Faye Young (Honea Path, SC), Brother-in-law; Eddie Cahaly (Greenville, SC), brother & sister-in-law; Harold & Margaret Jane Lindsey (Acworth, GA). Mr. Young was a Veteran and served in the US Army Air Corps and a member of Annistown Road Baptist Church. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday 6-8PM, and Wednesday 1-2PM.
