Katie Williamson and Charles Clayton Sanders were married July 11 at Shadowbrook Baptist Church in Suwanee. The Rev. Bobby Linkous officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Marty and Debbie Williamson of Suwanee. She is a 2002 graduate of North Gwinnett High School and a 2006 graduate of North Georgia College and State University. She is attending the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
The groom is the son of Charles and Sandra Sanders of Gainesville. He is a 2002 graduate of Gainesville High School and a 2006 magna cum laude graduate of North Georgia College and State University. He teaches biology and coaches baseball at Gainesville High School.
Jessica Williamson of Nashville, sister of the bride, served as the bride's maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Debbie Williamson, Christi Schenzel, Amanda Simpson, Stephanie Pieper, Kimberlyn Love, Lindsey Nichols, Jeanine Webster, Jenica Alvarez, Brandi Owen and Katie Schleisman. Anna Kate Williamson was the flower girl.
Charles Sanders of Gainesville, father of the groom, served as the best man.
Groomsmen were Brian Williamson, Ricky Sanders, Trey Wood, Wesley Sanders, Ryan Gurley, Kyle Potts, John Morris, Bryan VanBavel, Adam White and Michael Walling. Drew Williamson was the ring bearer.
After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple resides in Flowery Branch.
