Parkview championship shirt now available
LILBURN - The Parkview High School Softball Booster Club has created a T-shirt honoring the school's 75 state championships. Since the school's inception in 1976, 47 sports teams and 28 academic teams have won championships. The back of the T-shirt contains a list of the winning teams - everything from boys cross country to Science Bowl. Although T-shirt sales will benefit the softball program, the shirt was designed to show school spirit. The shirt will be unveiled today at Parkview High during schedule pickup and freshman orientation. Short-sleeve shirts are available for $15, and long-sleeve versions will be sold for $20. The shirt will also be sold throughout the year. For more information, call Lynn Chandley at 404-731-1630.
