2 escape scorched Duluth home
DULUTH - Fire destroyed a home in the 5100 block of Old Norcross Road in Duluth on Wednesday evening, officials said. The blaze, which investigators think could have started in a basement laundry area, destroyed the single-story home. Firefighters found the home engulfed upon arrival just before 7:30 p.m. Two adults were home at the time and escaped without injury, Fire Department spokesman Capt. Thomas Rutledge said. No injuries were reported. New liquor store coming to Suwanee Beverage Superstore No. 2 will celebrate its new digs by holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. May 7 at its new location, 350 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. The store, owned by Richard Tucker, is located behind the Suwanee Kroger.More like this story
