Antique store to open on Lawrenceville square
LAWRENCEVILLE - A new antique, vintage, collectible and consignment store - Timeless Treasures - is ready to open on the downtown square. To celebrate, the store will host a grand opening from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the new location, 150 E. Crogan St. The two-level shop is full of merchandise from all over the world, and space can be rented if you're interested in displaying your antiques or collectibles that are for sale. Publix to open Bethlehem store BETHLEHEM - Publix Super Markets' grand opening for its new store in Bethlehem will be at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday with Mayor Sandy McNab and Barrow County Chamber President Tommy Jennings. The 45,600-square-foot grocery features a pharmacy, bakery, deli and fresh seafood, including sushi. Approximately 90 associates will be employed at the store, which is Publix's third location in Barrow County. Publix is privately owned and has 140,500 employees and 1,002 stores in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama and Tennessee. Ribbon cutting scheduled for Barrow health care facility WINDER - The latest addition to Athens Regional Health Services family - Regional FirstCare at Barrow County - will celebrate its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. Located across from the new Target store on Ga. Highway 316, the 20,000-square-foot facility provides Barrow and surrounding county residents and businesses board-certified physicians and another option in health care. Chamber welcomes new Chairman's Club member DULUTH - The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce will welcome new member Morgan Stanley-Sugarloaf by attending a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new office's opening. The event will take place at noon May 7 at Morgan Stanley-Sugarloaf's new home, 2160 Satellite Blvd., Suite 150.
