Mr. and Mrs. John Hamrick Sr. of Macon and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Batson of Winterville, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandi Renee' Batson of Grayson, to Joshua Darren Johnson of Loganville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jewett Clower of Snellville and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Johnson of Grayson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Helen G. Hall of Macon and the late Willliam C. Giles, the late Charles W. Batson and the late Mildred Batson. She is a 2002 graduate of Tattnall Square Academy and is a 2006 graduate of Georgia College and State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She is employed as a third-grade teacher at Brookwood Elementary.
The future groom is the grandson of Audrey Ford of Grayson, the late Glen Ford, Allene Johnson of Centerville and the late Ray Johnson. He is a 1997 graduate of South Gwinnett High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Georgia with a doctorate degree in pharmacy. He is employed as an assistant pharmacy manager at Publix Pharmacy.
The wedding is planned for May 30 at Ingleside United Methodist Church in Macon.
