Artists are expected to take to the streets in downtown Buford this weekend.
Gwinnett residents are invited to watch as the historic homes and gardens in the area serve as creative inspiration for artists participating in the third annual Buford Plein Air Festival, a juried event in which artists can submit three paintings in pastel, oil and acrylic, they have completed during the two-day event. Artists can begin painting Friday morning and can continue until 4 p.m. Saturday. A reception will be held beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday at Tannery Row Artist Colony, 554 W.
