LAWRENCEVILLE - Jurors in Quincy Jackson's murder trial couldn't reach a verdict before quitting time Wednesday.
A Superior Court judge sent the undecided group home at 5 p.m., following their first full day of deliberations, an attorney said. Jackson, 27, is a suspect in three home-invasion robberies that culminated in the March 2008 death of Lilburn resident Tedla Lemma, 51. He faces life in prison. The Riverdale man is the first of four suspects to be tried who police believe played a role in Lemma's killing. He faces 17 counts, including felony murder, burglary and kidnapping.More like this story
