DULUTH - The public is invited to come out and see the newly renovated Glancy Center at Gwinnett Medical Center-Duluth from noon until 3 p.m. Friday.
The facility at 3215 McClure Bridge Road will offer new programs and services and the open house will feature exercise class demonstrations, patient education, exhibits and tours of the facility.
The event is sponsored by GMC's Center for Sleep Disorders and Diabetes and Nutrition Education Center and aims to help participants stay healthy and fit by improving nutritional and sleep habits.
The Center for Sleep Disorders tests for sleep-related disorders and educates patients about those disorders.
The Diabetes and Nutrition Education Center is accredited by the American Diabetes Association and offers services such as diabetes and pre-diabetes education and nutrition advice for weight management, high cholesterol, prenatal nutrition and overweight children.
