Stanley Edward Garmon, age 84, of Buford, Ga, died Friday, April 10, 2009. His funeral will be Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at 2 pm in the Bill Head Funeral Home, Duluth Chapel. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth. A native of Duluth, Ga., he was a retired inspector for General Motors, a member of the First Baptist Church of Sugar Hill and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survived by his children, Geneva and Roddy Sturdivant of Stephens, Ga., Linda and Larry Ware of Cumming, Ga., Lisa and Patrick O'Donnell of Flowery Branch, Ga., Johnny and Brenda Garmon of Monroe, Ga., six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, brothers, Royce Garmon of Jefferson, Ga., Jerry Garmon of Bethlehem, Ga., and his sisters, Gladys Roberts of Snellville, Ga., and Kathleen Couch of Lawrenceville, Ga. The family will receive friends Monday from 2 until 4 and from 6 until 8pm at the Bill Head Funeral Home and Crematory, Duluth Chapel. 770-476-2535.
