Dr. and Mrs. Lewis L. Brown of Norcross announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Brown of Norcross, to A.J. West of Norcross, son of Janene Winkle and Alan Zane West of St. Louis, Mo.
The bride-elect is the grandaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Barnard of Norcross. She is a 2003 graduate of Wesleyan High School and a 2008 graduate of Auburn University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in graphic design. She is employed by College Concepts. The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Graves of Friedheim, Mo., and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce West of Hillsboro, Mo. He is a 2001 graduate of Steelville High School and a 2005 graduate of Lindenwood University, where he received a bachelor's degree and commission as an officer in the U.S. Army. He is employed by AmeriGas. The wedding is planned for Aug. 1 at Peachtree Corners Baptist Church.More like this story
