Karen Alligood of Lawrenceville announces the engagement of her daughter, Ellen Stephanie Alligood, to Bryan Fredrick Chapman, son of the Rev. and Mrs. James Chapman of Snellville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Foster of Loganville and Hazel Alligood of Meigs and the late Ronald Alligood. She is a 2005 graduate of Killian Hill Christian School and plans to graduate in May from the University of Georgia, where she will receive a bachelor's degree in education, communication and science disorders. She plans to attend graduate school in the fall. The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Derrick of Snellville and Mr. Fred Chapman of Hartwell and the late Lenora Chapman. He is a 2002 graduate of Brookwood High School and a 2006 graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology, where he received a bachelor's degree in computer engineering. He is employed with Blue Wave Computing in Smyrna. The wedding is planned for June in Snellville.More like this story
