LAWRENCEVILLE - Police on Wednesday identified a man killed on Interstate 85 when he was hit by two tractor-trailers this week as a Kingsport, Tenn., resident.
Billy Norris, 66, walked into traffic on I-85 South near Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road about 2 a.m. Monday, police said. Norris was struck by a tractor-trailer in the second lane from the right, and then by another similar vehicle in the same lane, Gwinnett police spokeswoman Cpl. Illana Spellman said. Investigators have not determined why the man walked into traffic. No criminal charges have been filed.More like this story
