Owner: Suwanee resident Lina Park has channeled her South American influences - she grew up in Ecuador - into Villa Rica Grill House, which specializes in South American food. Park's husband, Daniel, is head chef.

Atmosphere: While Villa Rica Grill House boasts dining for less, guests can still expect an upscale atmosphere. Tables are set with white linens and the hardwood floors shine. The drapes over the large front windows were custom-ordered from Korea and lend an elegance to the dining area, while a large window allows guests to see inside the kitchen area as their food is prepared. Bar seating is also available, and a patio area offers outdoor seating.

Villa Rica Grill House offers live music every Saturday, with Peruvian sounds on the music menu for April.

Menu: While Villa Rica Grill House specializes in South American food, its menu has something for everyone, even those who might at first shy away from sampling the enticing South American fare.

Park said the most popular appetizer is the authentic Argentinean empanadas, a choice of beef or chicken served with pico de gallo, while popular entrees include the la parilla mixta for two - an assortment of pork chops, short ribs, flank and skirt steaks, choirizo sausage and a choice of two sides - and the churrasco, grilled skirt steak served with rice, a fried egg, a plantain, French fries and salad.

Roasted chicken, fresh salmon, grilled flat bread pizzas and pastas round out the restaurant's offerings. Side items include sauteed garlic spinach, sauteed asparagus, grilled zucchini, French fries, fried plantains, tostones, mashed potatoes, a baked potato, rice pilaf and an Argentinean mixed salad.

Lina Park invites guests to enjoy what she boasted is the best pina colada in Georgia, made with rum, Malibu, coconut milk and pineapple juice. The Galapagos Caipirinha, a variation of a traditional Brazilian drink with rum and lime.

Things you might not know: For guests who order a bottle of wine and aren't able to finish it, Villa Rica Grill House offers to keep the bottle on hand under the guests' names until they return.
