Gary Whiddon and Susan Treadwell of Winder announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Lynn Whiddon of Jefferson, to Jonathan Zachary Hughes of Jefferson, son of John Hughes of Flowery Branch and Laverne Grissom of Hoschton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Katherine Whiddon of Winder and the late Howell Whiddon and Mary Page of Winder and the late Johnnie B. Page. She is a 2005 graduate of Winder Barrow High School. She is employed by 1st Franklin Financial. The future groom is the grandson of John and Kathryn Hughes of Buford and the late J.B. and Agnes Pruitt. He is a 2000 graduate of Buford High School. He is employed by Holiday Marina. The wedding is planned for Thursday at the home of the bride's mother in Winder.More like this story
