Syble Louise Boucher, age 80, of Duluth, died September 26, 2008. A Memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Monday September 29, 2008 at Duluth First United Methodist, with Dr. Tommy Green officiating. A private family graveside will be held at Arlington Memorial Park, Sandy Springs. Syble was born in Sandy Springs, GA, to the late William Alfred Johnson and Hattie Lou Coleman. She was the youngest of 12 children. She was a devoted wife, mother and active in her community. She was an active member of Cross & Crown Lutheran Church and later joined Duluth First United Methodist Church. In addition to her many church functions, she was very busy with various organizations including, Norcross Lions Club, Sisters of Epsilon Sigma, Alpha Sigma Rho Chapter, Norcross Newcomers Club and many Bridge Clubs. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Verne Boucher, daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Scott Bargatze of Sugar Hill, GA, son and daughter-in-law Gregg and Denise Boucher of Fresno, CA and grandchildren Blake Bargatze, Ross Bargatze, Wesley Bargatze, Bryce Boucher and Danielle Boucher and sister Gladys Hogan of Conyers, GA. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the St. Jude's Childrens Hospital. The family will receive friends Sunday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory Duluth Chapel 770-476-2535.
