Fire strikes Winder business
WINDER - Barrow County firefighters brought a business fire under control Saturday in the 500 block of U.S. Highway 81 in Winder. The blaze occurred in a restroom and attic area at Barrow Commercial Tire about 4 p.m., an official said. The fire was quickly contained to that area and extinguished. The cause of the fire is under investigation, said Barrow County Fire Department spokesman Lt. Scott Dakin.More like this story
