ZONING CASES - ACTION TAKEN: Here's a look at the action taken by the Gwinnett County Planning Commission at its Wednesday meeting to consider planning and zoning cases. Cases decided upon now move to the agenda of the Board of Commissioners.

1. Tabled until Oct. 21: A requested change in conditions of zoning and reduction in buffers for 2 acres zoned C-2 (general business district) to allow for a 9,342-square-foot day care center. The property is located at the 3300 block of Fence Road. The applicant is Land Solutions Group, Loganville and the owner is Watkins Associated Developers Inc., Atlanta. CIC-08-020

2. Approved with Conditions: A requested rezoning, reheard by consent order, from a single family residential district to an office-institutional district to allow for a 1,800-square-foot home to be converted to an office on 2.05 acres.
