LILBURN - Parkview pitcher Jordan DeArmon helped herself by scoring the only run in a 1-0 win over Collins Hill in the Brookwood Invitational at Parkview on Thursday.
DeArmon hit a triple in the third inning and came all the way around to score after an error by the Eagles. She made it stand, pitching five innings of shutout ball for the Panthers (13-5). DeArmon (8-1) struck out three and gave up four hits.
Lauren Reader (5-3) picked up the loss. She pitched 52/3 innings, allowing six hits to go with four strikeouts for the Eagles (11-7). Sara Coker and Desirae Thomas added two hits for Parkview, while Sammy Lenahan had a triple for Collins Hill.
Dacula 11, Peachtree Ridge 1
SUWANEE - Allie Miles' ERA remains at 0.00 after allowing no earned runs in a 11-1 win over Peachtree Ridge in the Brookwood Invitational on Thursday.
Miles (8-0) pitched all five innings, allowing one unearned run and two hits to go with seven strikeouts.
Charlotte Sieber went 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Kelsea Martin (3-for-4) added two RBIs on two doubles and a triple. She also scored twice for the Falcons (13-5). Alex Payne went 3-for-3 with two RBIs, while Sarah Bentley went 1-for-4 and drove in three runs.
North 6, Central 0
LAWRENCEVILLE - North Gwinnett knocked off Central Gwinnett 6-0 on Thursday in the Brookwood Invitational at Central.
Jenifer Gray (6-1) earned the win. She struck out five in four innings, while allowing one hit. Morgan White struck out four in two innings of relief.
Kristen O'Neill led the Bulldogs (14-3-1) offense, going 3-for-3 with three singles. Brittany Brown and Ashley Spangler each added two singles.
Mill Creek 7, Norcross 3
HOSCHTON - Morgan Bullock fanned 14 batters as Mill Creek beat Norcross 7-3 on Thursday.
Bullock (12-2) pitched a complete game and gave up an earned run. She also went 3-for-4 with three runs and a pair of stolen bases. Amberlie Saxton (2-for-3) hit a homer to go with a triple and three RBIs for the Hawks (13-3, 6-0). Lauren Stimis (2-for-3) scored a run and drove in a run.
Brookwood 2, East Coweta 0
SNELLVILLE - Brookwood stole six bases in a 2-0 win over East Coweta in six innings Thursday at the Brookwood Invitational.
Brandi Jones struck out four in the shutout. She also drove in a run with a sacrifice fly. Chelsea Hawkins drove in the Bronco's (7-11-2) other run with a double.
Shibani Dhodabra stole two bases and scored a run. Jessica Neidigh (1-for-3) also had a run and a stolen base. Aubrey Kemp and Jenny Blackwell each had a hit and a stolen base.
South Forsyth 8, Duluth 4
DULUTH - Elanna Worthy hit her second homer of the season as Duluth lost to South Forsyth 8-4.
Sam Martin went 3-for-4 for the Wildcats (9-10, 2-5), while Maggie Kooker went 1-for-3 with two RBIs.

SNELLVILLE - South Gwinnett fell to Eagles Landing Christian Academy 8-0 on Thursday in the Brookwood Invitational at South.
Megan Truett went 2-for-3 for the Comets (4-17-1). Jordan Suther was 1-for-2.
Salem 25, Berkmar 2
LILBURN - Berkmar lost to Salem 25-2 on Thursday.
Samantha Myers and Michael Brown each went 1-for-2 with a run scored. Brittani Bumb had a hit and two stolen bases, while Nataljia Taylor (1-for-2) drove in a run for the Patriots (3-9).
Armstrong has big game in Wesleyan win
NORCROSS - Ann Marie Armstrong knocked down 14 aces as Wesleyan beat GAC 25-18, 25-7, 22-25, 25-12 on Thursday. Armstrong added 26 kills and 10 digs to lead the Wolves (29-7).
Maggie Smith finished with 40 assists and five aces. Grace Leah Baughn had nine digs, while Anna Keappler had eight kills and six aces.
Amanda Komisarow led the Spartans (8-9) with 21 kills, while Megan Rosburg had nine. Brynn Massey added 27 assists. Catherine Chason finished with three aces and two blocks.
Buford knocks off Jackson County., Chestatee
BUFORD - Buford didn't lose a game Thursday in wins over Jackson County and Chestatee.
The Wolves won the first match against the Panthers 25-10, 25-20. Hallye Jerkins had 10 kills for the Wolves (11-7), while Morgan Nash had 13 assists. Nancy Mattox added two blocked.
Buford went on to beat the War Eagles 25-17, 25-22. Hannah Parets had 10 digs, while Elizabeth Darden had 11. Denee Badois finished with four kills.
North sweeps South, Shiloh
SUWANEE - North Gwinnett knocked off South and Shiloh on Thursday.
The Bulldogs took care of South 25-20, 25-20 then beat the Generals 25-14, 25-10. Stefanie Gavrila had 12 kills on the night for North (16-7). Michelle DeMaris had 21 digs and seven aces, while Megan Carnell added 11 kills.
In the other match, Shiloh beat the Comets 25-20, 11-25, 25-23.
Central falls to Collins Hill, Alpharetta
SUWANEE - Collins Hill and Alpharetta knocked off Central Gwinnett Thursday at Collins Hill.
The Eagles beat the Black Knights 25-20, 25-19. Central lost the second match to the Gators 25-12, 23-25, 25-22. Rachel Johnson had 11 digs and four kills to lead the Black Knights (5-2). Jessica Engheben had five digs, while Laura Milardo added three digs and six kills.
Brookwood goes down to Northview, North Cobb
DULUTH - Brookwood was swept by Northview on North Cobb on Thursday at Northview.
The Titans beat the Broncos 25-11, 25-15. Brookwood lost to the Warriors 25-20, 25-20. Stephanie DeLoach had five kills and five digs. An injured Lissie Terry finished with 12 digs. Abby Case had 23 assists and six digs.
