Alice Fay Montgomery, Age 71, of Snellville, Georgia passed away suddenly on September 10, 2008. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Edward and Marie Dohnal and infant sister, Janet Joy. She is survived by her husband, William Worth Montgomery of Snellville, GA: along with her four children, Scott Montgomery of San Diego, CA. Todd Montgomery of Georgetown, TX, Dawn Turner of Lawrenceville, GA and Lisa Macdonald of Huntingtown, MD. Five Grandchildren Liza, Trevor and Quentin Turner: Will and Allison Montgomery. She was married to her beloved husband W. W. Montgomery for 51 years. Alice was born in Menominee, Michigan and raised in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. Dedicated member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 50 years and active with the Yaarab Shrine Club, Daughters of the Nile, Director of the DESA Sailors and a volunteer for Soldiers Connections. Passionate about family and friends, touching so many lives. Loving Grandmother who enjoyed seeing her grandsons many baseball games. She visited more than 35 countries with her loving husband and this year traveled to Australia, New Zealand and Caribbean cruise with family members in July. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held Sunday, September 28, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the 408 (Forty & Eight) room at the Loganville American Legion Post 233, 4635 Atlanta Highway 78 in Loganville, GA 30052. Alice's remains were cremated as requested, a Graveside service this Spring in Victor, Iowa will be her final resting place. The Family requests no Black attire, Red, White & Blue preferred.
