SNELLVILLE -A Snellville woman brought home $10 million in the lottery.
Dorothy Woods, who turned 47 earlier this month, won the prize as part of the Georgia Lottery's statewide televised game show "Georgia's $500 million Club Finale." "It's unbelievable. Wow!" Woods said. "All I kept saying to myself was 'Pick me! Pick me!' This win will change our lives." Woods, her husband, Larry, and their 15-year-old son plan to take a long vacation before deciding what to do with the money. "We're definitely going to pay off bills, and my son will go to the best of schools," Woods said. "We're very lucky." "Georgia's $500 Million Club Finale" was held in conjunction with the instant game Georgia's $500 Million Club. Players could enter the $10 million drawing by mailing in non-winning game tickets. Each of the 77 weekly winners won $5,000 and became a game show finalist.More like this story
