DULUTH - The new class of the Gwinnett Neighborhood Leadership Institute has been announced for the 2008-09 program year.
Residents were selected across the county to participate in a community leadership training program designed to train and empower residents to become actively engaged in their communities. The program runs one Saturday a month for eight consecutive months and will end with a graduation ceremony. Participants are required to develop service projects as a graduation component. Projects will be presented to the public in early March. For information on the program or to submit an application for next year's class, visit www.gnli.org.
