Mr. and Mrs. Gary H. Dickinson of Lexington, S.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Alicia Dickinson, to Paul Joseph Hackett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hackett of Lawrenceville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Alfred Dickinson III of New York, the late Mathilde Dickinson and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Vassalotti of Lexington, S.C. She received a bachelor's degree in biology from Shorter College and a master's degree in secondary education from the University of Alabama. She is employed as a biology teacher in Lexington. The future groom is the grandson of the late Paul Hackett, Rita Hackett of Johnstown, Penn., Theodore Mazur of Tampa, Fla., and the late Santa Mazur. He attended Spartanburg Methodist College in Spartanburg, S.C., and Lander University in Greenwood, S.C., where he majored in history. He is employed by Sherwin Williams. The wedding is planned for Oct. 25 at The Magnolia House of Lexington.More like this story
