Ray and Linda Carrington of Jefferson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 29. Both Linda and Ray are retired. They have five children: Cindy, Teresa, Lori, John and Alan. They also have 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. To celebrate, the couple enjoyed a nice dinner out and are planning a trip to the beach with their children in October.
