Chillier weather is here, providing a perfect excuse - if you need one - to start warming up for fall dining and entertaining.
You can get schooled on fresh ideas for fall foods Thursday with culinary specialist Michelle Roberts as she offers her expertise on fall dining and entertaining at the Taste of Home Cooking Show at Gwinnett Center. Roberts will present and prepare 10 quick recipes to fill dining and entertaining menus, from individual lava chocolate cakes to a healthy take on chili, a cold-weather staple. Those who attend Thursday's event can also take advantage of information offered at local vendor exhibits, try for door prizes and bring home a gift bag filled with coupons and the Taste of Home Cooking School cookbook. Tickets for Thursday's event can be purchased online at www.gwinnettdailypost.com until 4 p.m. today, and orders will be taken by phone at 770-963-9205 ext. 1209 on Thursday.
