The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Lee Allen of Duluth. She is a 2001 graduate of Greater Atlanta Christian School and a 2004 graduate of Samford University. She is employed by Shaw Industries.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Edward Surratt of Calhoun. He is a 2001 graduate of Calhoun High School and a 2006 graduate of Dalton State College. He is attending Georgia Tech. He is employed by Shaw Industries.
Julie Catherine Martin of Birmingham, Ala., and Lesley Anne Spears of Orlando, Fla., served as the bride's maids of honor.
Asheley Holcomb York of Tusaloosa, Ala., served as the bride's matron of honor.

After a honeymoon in the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, the couple resides in Dalton.
