Lisa Christin Allison and Andrew Cole Southerland were married Aug. 9 at Blackshear Place Baptist Church in Oakwood. The Rev. Frankie Southerland and the Rev. Arthur Southerland officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Donnie and Janice Allison of Flowery Branch. She is a 2006 graduate of Flowery Branch High School, and is enrolled at North Georgia College and State University studying psychology. She is employed by Kohl's Department Store.
The groom is the son of the Rev. Frankie and Celia Southerland of Buford. He is a 2005 graduate of Buford High School, and is enrolled at North Georgia College and State University studying business management. He is employed by Sherwin Williams.
Kristin Hamilton of Flowery Branch served as the bride's maid of honor.
Kim Southerland of Jefferson served as the bride's matron of honor.
Bridemaids were Erin Cole of Gainesville, Cassie Johnson of Gainesville, Jessica Ford of Sugar Hill and Leah Stinespring of Flowery Branch.
Adam Southerland of Jefferson served as the groom's best man.
Groomsmen were Kyle Wheatley of Flowery Branch, David Thrasher of Buford, Brian Sudderth of Sugar Hill, Chase Parker of Hoschton and David Allison of Flowery Branch.
After a honeymoon in Antigua, the couple resides in Gainesville.
