Mr. Edward Dechau, Jr., age 79, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Azalean Dechau, Flowery Branch, GA; children, Gregory Dechau, Panama City Beach, FL, Gretchen Franklin, Lavonia, GA, Stephanie DeCampli, Mont Morenci, SC and Steve Russell, Dacula, GA; ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Mr. Dechau was born December 5, 1928 in Louisville, GA. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served for six years. He taught school and retired after 30 years of service. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Buford Presbyterian Church in Buford, GA with Dr. John Roark officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Buford Presbyterian Church, 1242 Buford Highway, Buford, GA 30518 in memory of Edward Dechau, Jr. Arrangements by: Junior E.
