Alice Gertrude Biggers McCart, age 91 of Lawrenceville passed away, Sunday, October 12, 2008. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 14, 2008 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Grandson, Mike Lackey, Rev. Carl Leach & Rev. Jeff Parmer will officiate. Burial Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceville. A homemaker most of her life, employed by American Charms in Lawrenceville, Mrs. McCart was the oldest member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Lawrenceville. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Helen Stephens, and husband, Lawson McCart. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her Daughter & Son-in-law: Leona & Roy Lackey, Lawrenceville; Son & Daughter-in-law: Tommy & Jean McCart, Monroe; Son-in-law: Robert & Pat Stephens, Athens, 8 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild, Special Niece: Shirley Sims, Lawrenceville; & Sister-in-law: Carolyn Biggers, Lawrenceville.
