Sara Elizabeth Weeks and Thomas Eugene Lingerfelt II were married March 29 at Buford First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Gerry Davis and the Rev. Wayne Johnson officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Becky Beard Weeks and Mike Weeks of Buford. She is a 1997 graduate of Buford High School, a 2001 graduate of the University of Georgia and a 2007 graduate of Brenau University. She is employed by Buford City Schools as a seventh-grade teacher.
The groom is the son of Terry and Charlene Lingerfelt of Rome. He is a 1996 graduate of Model High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Georgia. He is employed by the Gwinnett Community Bank.
Brooke Thomas of Athens served as the bride's matron of honor.
