Incidents keep firefighters busy
LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett County firefighters stayed busy Wednesday, responding to several incidents, said Capt. Thomas Rutledge, the Fire Department's spokesman. The incidents included balcony fires that damaged exterior walls at an apartment on Montrose Parkway in Norcross and at Wesley Place Apartments in Lawrenceville, a fire in the bushes at an apartment on Breckinridge Boulevard in Duluth that caused minor damage to some siding, a fire that damaged some cabinets in a workshop behind a house on the 700 block of Butler Court in Lawrenceville, and a grease fire in an oven that spread to insulation in the attic and caused minor damage at the Jalisco Grill Panaderia at 3194 Buford Highway in Duluth. No injuries were reported in any of the incidents, Rutledge said.More like this story
