SUWANEE - Santa Claus is coming to Suwanee.
The jolly old man will arrive Saturday in historic Old Town on a sleigh pulled by a tractor, city spokeswoman Lynne Bohlman DeWilde said. After his arrival, Santa will light the red caboose. The annual Old Town Holiday Festival and Caboose Lighting begins at 5 p.m. Saturday. Performances by elementary school choruses will precede Santa's arrival, DeWilde said. "It's a low-key traditional celebration of the holidays," DeWilde said. Children can share their wish lists and take a photo with Santa. Parents are asked to bring their cameras for the pictures. Carriage rides will also be offered. The rides cost $4 per person or $15 for a family of up to six. For more information about the event, visit www.suwanee.com.
