George Marano and Debbie Marano of Winder celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. The couple was married on Sept. 9, 1978, in Saint Matthius Catholic Church, in Ridgewood, N.Y. They celebrated by visiting Cherokee, N.C., and the Great Smokey Mountains. They have two children, Megan and Jamie.
