David Andrew North, age 20, of Lilburn, GA went to be with his Lord on October 30, 2008 at Egleston Children's Hospital after a 5 year battle with Leukemia. He is survived by his loving and devoted family: Parents, Pamela and Christopher P. North, DMD of Lilburn, GA, 6 Brothers and Sisters, Ryan North and his wife Rachelle of Pelham, AL, Stephanie North Debski and her husband Johnny, Amanda North, Katie North, Christy North and Jon North all of Lilburn, GA; Paternal Grandparents, George and Dorothy North of Chamblee, GA; Maternal Grandfather, Donald Smith of Stone Mountain, GA; and Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Many Loyal Friends. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother, Joan Smith. David was born on June 21, 1988 at Dekalb Medical Center. His mother Pam described David as “a delightful middle child that was a warrior who fought to the end for his family.” He was home schooled and graduated from Parkwood Christian Academy in Lilburn and attended Perimeter College in Dunwoody. He was an avid sportsman that was a ranked tennis player in Georgia, snowboarder and skier, dirt bike rider, liked to fish and loved the Georgia Bulldogs. David loved to travel and especially enjoyed cruises with his entire family to the Southern & Western Caribbean. He loved the outdoors, camping, going to Camp Sunshine, playing video games, and hanging out with his friends. He was an inspiration to everyone that knew him, and his father Chris said he lived his life with “dignity and integrity” through out all of his health problems. He kept his faith, Loved his Lord and never questioned why he had to battle so many health problems during his young life. The Service Celebrating the Life of David North will be held Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 2:00 o'clock at the Grace Fellowship Church, 1440 Dogwood Rd., Snellville, GA 30078 with David placed instate at the church at 1:30 P.M. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Tucker, GA. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
