Lopez to host hospital gala

LOS ANGELES - Jennifer Lopez has children on her mind - and not just her infant twins with husband Marc Anthony.

The 39-year-old singer/actress/entrepreneur is also thinking about the 93,000 sick and seriously injured children treated annually by Childrens Hospital Los Angeles - and how she can help.

Lopez announced Wednesday that she'll host and help coordinate the third Noche de Ninos benefit gala. This year's star-studded party, to be held Oct. 11 at the Nokia Center, will feature performances by Lopez, Anthony, Alejandro Sanz and Latin rockers Juanes and Mana.

Winehouse won't face drug charges

LONDON - Amy Winehouse will not face charges over video footage that allegedly shows her taking drugs, her spokesman said Wednesday.

Police questioned the Grammy-winning soul diva for nine hours last week over a January video that appears to show her smoking a pipe usually used for crack cocaine during a party at her north London home. Police began an investigation after photos from the footage were published in The Sun newspaper.

Spokesman Chris Goodman said police had finished their investigation and confirmed no charges would be brought against the 24-year-old singer.

Heston's Ten Commandments to be auctioned

NEW YORK - Thou shalt find the Ten Commandments up for bid this summer.

A pair of faux granite tablets that Charlton Heston cradled in the 1956 biblical epic 'The Ten Commandments' is expected to fetch as much as $60,000, said Marc Kruskol, a publicist for the auction Profiles in History. It is the fourth set of tablets that remains from the film that featured Heston as Moses.

The five-piece costume Heston wore in 1959's 'Ben-Hur' - the film that won him a best actor Oscar - is also among the 1,000-plus pieces of Hollywood memorabilia the auction is selling this summer.
