NORCROSS - An early morning squabble at a Norcross nightclub that prompted gunfire Sunday likely involved a street gang known as "YNT," police said.
The incident involved a single shot outside the Palladium Arena, a teen hip-hop nightclub on Live Oak Parkway in Norcross. Nobody was injured. Police continued searching Thursday for three black men who witnesses said were arguing in the club's parking lot an hour before the bullet flew, said Gwinnett police spokesman Officer David Schiralli. The single round pierced two panes of glass before dropping to the ground. It wasn't the first time police have responded to the nightclub's address, Schiralli said. "Incidents at that location are sporadic," he said. According to a police report, one witness reported the shot was fired by members of the "YNT" gang, a national set whose name stands for "Young 'N' Thuggin.'" The manager of the club told police she didn't hear anything suspicious. Juveniles leaving the nightclub were mum about circumstances surrounding the shooting, the report said.More like this story
