Woman gets threatening text messages

LILBURN - A Lawrenceville woman told police someone has been threatening via text messages to kidnap and kill her.

The victim told police she received several phone calls from a number she didn't recognize. She replied with a text message, telling the caller they had the wrong number. Then she received a text stating, "I got the right person, I was suppose to kidnap you last night, signed Bullet for U," according to a police report.

The text sender claimed to know the woman after meeting her at a bar in the Lilburn area. The woman called police Saturday, who contacted the phone number from where the alleged threats were coming. The phone's owner, a Norcross man, said he wasn't the only one that uses the phone and he'd help police any way he could.

A responding officer told the man whoever made the threats would be "in some serious trouble." The officer said he would contact the man with any further questions.

Man arrested for exposing himself to police officer

A Norcross man was arrested Saturday morning for exposing himself to police as he was dressed in women's clothing.

An officer found the man about 6 a.m. outside an apartment complex on Graves Road. Wearing women's clothing, the 22-year-old was rolling in the dirt, yelling that he needed police, according to a police report.

When an officer asked for the man's name, he pulled down his pants and become "very volatile," the report says.

The man, who smelled like alcohol, was arrested for disorderly conduct, the officer wrote.
