Willie Lee Ashworth and Lonnie Mae Ashworth of Suwanee celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple married on Jan. 23, 1948 in Gwinnett County. Willie Lee is a retired machinist and Lonnie Mae is a homemaker. They celebrated by having dinner with friends and family. They have two children: Bonnie and Danny Ashworth. They have five grandchildren: Chris, Heather, Amanda, Samantha and Dan, and two great-grandchildren: Adam and Eric.
