Car window busted by UFO
NORCROSS - A mysterious flying object busted a motorist's car window as she drove down Jimmy Carter Boulevard last week.
The 41-year-old Lilburn woman told police she was driving in front of the Mission Heritage Apartments when she heard a loud bang. She looked back and noticed her rear passenger-side window was busted out.
The "unknown object" that damaged her car came from a wooded area near the apartments, but the victim didn't see anyone throw anything, she said.
The object was not located at the scene.
Loganville home pelted with eggs
LOGANVILLE - Vandals dotted a Loganville home with a hailstorm of eggs last week, much to the owner's dismay.
The 44-year-old homeowner told police someone pelted his Shadowbrooke Circle home with a yokey surprise late Friday night.
The homeowner, who has two teenage daughters, told police his family has no beef with anyone in their subdivision.
Police found an empty foam egg carton in the street outside the residence.
